The Rockin Sock Hop!!

Good Morning! On my 2nd birthday..(My birthday surprise is I AM GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER)

Well Ella turned 2 on April 18th, I just can not believe it. She is just a little girl now no more baby. Sad and so fun all at the same time.
We had burgers and root beer floats like in a 50s diner. The weather was so nice most of the time we got to play outside. The kids played with hoola hoops and just ran around.

First the guest list (very nice family and good sports to have a picture every year with her. It will be so fun to look back and remember who came.)

She is very dainty about eating her cake I always want her to just dig in but she wont.

She loved opening her presents this year. She thought it was fun. Thanks everyone who came she loves everything she got and never stops playing with all of it.

Easter 2010

Ella had so much fun finding eggs this year. The Easter bunny bought her a little potty that she could start getting used to before potty training, and of course some treats. We went to 3 or 4 different egg hunts here are a few photos..

Easter morning as you know was a little chili, so she had to where the rain coat and I even out her leggins on under her pants.

This egg hunt was in Hooper the sat before and it was winter coat cold. she had fun but she could not move it was so so cold. poor thing look at that red nose and we had only been outside for like 5-10 min

Nothing much

So not much has happened in our lives recently so I will just add some pictures I have taken lately. Maybe next time I will have something fun. OOOOhhhhh Ya like EASTER

So It was about time for bed and Ella was watching a movie in her toy room to settle down. When I went to check on her this is how I found her. In the baby swing almost asleep.. So funny she loves this thing



A little outside fun. Riding the bike and going down the slide. She loves to be outside and begs to go out all the time. Cant wait until we can go out everyday



Does anyone else think she looks big/old in this picture, but just when i start to think she is finally growing....

She stands next to her cousin Krew who is 1 year younger, and they are the same size. and I realize she is still a RUNT. but we LOVE her anyway

The day finally came..........

Well the time came to get rid of the SOOTHIE...
So we went down to Build-a-Bear(thanks for the idea Jess) and had her put it inside the bear so she could snuggle the bear instead of sucking on the soothie. I am not sure she really gets it but she is getting better.
So we got there and I let her pick what ever animal she wanted, she picked a monkey. she just learned what the monkey says so she thinks they are pretty funny. Then we got to step on the pedal and stuff the Monkey, Then she got to put its heart in and then it was time for the soothie, she put it in no problem. Then on to picking out the clothes there are so many options she liked the shoes the most. She could not decide....

She was a little confused on the ride home when she was so tired and asking for the soothie and i kept handing her the monkey LOL
The next 3 night were awful, she would cry for 1 1/2 hours the first night, 1 hour the next night, about the same the 3rd night, she is getting better naps are a little harder but I am not ready for her to not nap so I am very persistent about her taking one.

The official Certificate. We named her Aussie cause that is what Ella calls the soothie.

And it has the same birthday as me!!

It was such a good day and a very good bog girl step for her. its crazy she is so old. I just love her so much.

She is just nuts. We love her so much, and she is suddenly(about 3 weeks ago) a toddler, she can climb up onto the couch(she must have grown some legs) Reach the door knob but can not turn it, eats with a fork by herself. hangs on the highchair like a monkey, and is talking so much, she can say a ton of words

We had such a great Christmas this Year. Ella was such a blast she had fun opening her presents(although she did get bored of it after a while). Santa did not wrap his presents at our house he was just nice enough to put them together and put them around the tree. We hope you all had a great Christmas and Will have a Happy New Year! First we went to see all the Lights the pictures are of the christmas village in Ogden. We also went to Temple Square and Fantasy at the bay! Ella just loved the lights my favorite thing is every time she sees lights she says" OOOOOOHHHH" It is so cute.

This is a long story, but I will try to make it short. Drews parents gave us 1/4 cow of beef. I guess Brooke and her Suzi saw this costume at a trunk or treat thing and brooks just loved it so Suzi bought it for Brooke for christmas(in place of the cow they gave her too) for future children. They wanted us to see how funny it was so they put it on Ella. It was pretty cute the big bum of it was so funny

And last but not least. Ella great grandma and Granpa Woolley gave her this great Train that a guy in their neighborhood made. It is so cool Ella loves it and wants me to push her around the house all day.

Maybe Next Year

First attempt to see Santa this year in Brigham. No deal. She just screamed and screamed...

A few weeks later we tried again at a Family christmas party. Still No Luck Maybe next year she will like him??

This is my cutest Aunt Beth she is the highlight when Santa shows up she gets so excited she is usually in tears. It really brings the magic to the whole party. We just love her

Ella got her new favorite thing from Santa a baby. she just loves babies lately. always has one in her hand and loves putting hers to bed before she goes down. What a fun age, I can not wait for christmas morning with her. I think it will be so much fun.
