LUCY BETH CAMPBELL

Quick version of the birth story: Tuesday the 15th we had a normal checkup. I was at a 3 80%. I had him strip my membranes. We went home hoping for a delivery this day or not until Friday. We had to avoid the 16th due to 2 birthdays and an anniversary already that day and thursday was my moms birthday So to have her own day it was the 15th or the 18th. Well around 530 i was feeling contractions nothing painful and not very close together maybe 20-25 min. So I decided it was worth a shot to go in. We packed up everything kids and all. I did not want to get a sitter yet incase it was false alarm I did not want to have to re tell people. Well when we got there I was at a 4 so they kept me!!! They all thought I was crazy it was a bout 7 o'clock and I was telling them this baby had to be born by midnight. I am sure they were all thinking ya right lady see you at 4 in the morning. So we wait a while it is now 1030pm and i decide to get the epidural not cause of pain but to hopefully speed things up. Housel came in and broke my water and checked me i was at a 5. ONLY A 5 with 1.5 hours to go til this this day was over. So home he went.. at this point i think everyone thought she was going to join the crowd on the 16th. But at 1130 I was feeling the pressure-Sure enough she was coming. they brought all the stuff in and we waited for the dr. family went out of the room at 1140LUCY BETH was born at 11:44!!!! We did it.!! She has her own day. 11-15-11. She weighed 7.3 and 19.5 inches long. Beautiful as ever looking a lot like her sisters. I sent Aftyn home to bed but we kept Ella there i knew she would want to see her new sister. It was late but she did good. I think it helped to have her cousins down in the waiting room to play with. Thanks to everyone that enjoyed the late night with us. and to everyone that came to visit the next day..

Big sister fun..

Thought I better take and spend some one on one time with Ella before her new sister was born. So we went with our friends London and Velvet to Disney on Ice.
The girls had a lot of fun!

TEA for You!

Well it happened she turned 1. I can not believe it. It is so sad how fast it goes..
We had a tea party for her and I did not decorate to much this time which is so unlike me.. but here is what i got.

Haloween 2011

Holy cow another year has gone by.. I could not find anything I loved for Ella to be for Halloween this year so I decided to go clever and my mom made these very cute CAMPBELL SOUP CANS-they turned out fabulous..


We had friends over for a Halloween Dinner and the kids dressed up. Here is a picture of all but 2 of the kids.

Here are the girls and their loot and we only went around 1 block!! Ella loved it. She was just running and running form house to house. We could not keep up with her. It was fun to watch her.

Sad but these are the best pictures I got of them in their costumes. :(

I went to help in Ella class for their Halloween party. It was so fun to see all the kids and their costumes.
