Independence Day

We had a fun packed day on the 4th.
We had lots of things planned started at 630 am heading to Kamas for our annual breakfast at my grandmas. We went swimming with Grandpa Pete at the campground, then to the biggest slip and slide ever and ending at the Brigham fireworks(there is something about going to your hometown for holidays that make them the best) and home at 11pm. We were all very tired and not sure we have recovered yet but it was all worth it..

This is the back of Ella cute skirt(Thanks Kellee for buying this )

Kamryn and Mycah swinging form the tree holding on tight

Then we have fun Grandpa climbing the tree house with girls. Allie Mycah and Kamryn look close to see them all

One attempt to get a picture of miss busy in her outfit(she has leg warmers on because it was so cold outside that early)

Grandma Peterson with all her Great grandkids-9 total 8 which are from our family

Ella very festive!

Cute cousins

Now for swimming. It was not very warm so Kevin, Jason and Grandpa were nice enough to swim with the girls so us ladies did not have to get in the water

They made Ella have a life jacket on but they only had a thirty pound one. Poor girls face was so squished

Kamryn and Mycah enjoying the little slide

Here I am being brave and taking Ella on the big slide. not sure if she liked it or not she was not crying or smiling.

In Brigham at the fireworks.. What a great show Ella just stared not even sure she blinked once LOL

This is Ella and my live in Nanny for the week (aka Alisha my cousin)

Our little family not sure what face Ella is making

And the Whole Group-minus Jess and Krew

It was such a great day! Thanks Kevin and Jess for letting us crash your BBQ and firework party!1

BEFORE, AFTER, and the things in BETWEEN

For the last month we have been working on our yard.. I am so excited to have it done. We have had so much help from family and friends raking rocks, Trenching, placing sprinklers, re-leveling and LAYING SOD here are a few ok alot of pictures of all the work that went into it.. It will be so great to be able to go outside and play without having to pack up the gear to go to the park... Which is nice sometimes but not when you want a quick outside play time..

The next couple pictures are the family over on memorial day raking raking digging digging

Having a little fun riding on the tractor to push the rake down so it will level out the dirt

The cement pad out back (to put a shed someday when we save our money back up.
This was an attempt to put Ella hand prints. It did not turn out to good.

Laying the sod it took them about 21/2 hours not too bad we had a lot of help

The party after it was all done.. PIzza and some lounging on the GRASS! It is so fabulous

It took lots of man hours to get his done. And tons of help from a lot of great family and friends We are so excited to finally have it done. Now we just need to bring all the rock in for park strip, out back, and the south side of the house.

Shout out to Kamryn

Here is a story to make you laugh out loud:

Ok so I am so dumb. . . I am brigham tonight at kamryns gymnastics receital, I have to stop for fuel and I am talking on my phone and I set my wallet on top of the car ( which I never do) and of course I drive away with out getting it off. As I drive down the road I hear a loud thunk while wondering what it was I realize my wallet is no where to be found so I turn around and see it laying in the middle of the road broken but the cash I had was gone I drive up and down that 1/2 mile stretch about five times at 5 miles/ hr looking for it and I can not find it, so I gave up and headed home. I text my sister in law to tell her my crazy story, and when my awesome niece( who is 4) heard the story she really wanted to look for it for me mind you it was like 930 so she dragged my brother out the door with a flashlight and they walked up the road on a hunt. Wouldn't you know THEY FOUND IT!! Thanks Kamryn for wanting look you are great! I just LOVE you!!!

Loving those SUNNY days

We at our house have been sick for 3 weeks Ella of course the worst.... So now that she is finally better we had to get out of the house... I took her to the park for the first time and she absolutely loved it. She was so brave going down the slide all by herself and would just giggle and giggle.. We also learned what a doggie says(since that is all we heard teh whole time was one barking) It was just Ella and I there so it was kind of hard to get some good pictures she is not to stable on her own yet for me to walk away to far

A few weeks ago it was very very warm out so we decided to grill up some hamburgers and play outside Ella just enjoyed riding and walking behind this new toy she got for her birthday!!

Thanks Laci for the big picture idea I did not realize I had them going up small.
